BVAN, Don Appoint Bomb victims as ambassador, This is So Selly

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Bomb Victims Association of Nigeria (BVAN) has appointed Mr. Temitope Olodo as the association’s International Ambassador.

Chairman of BVAN Mr. Kayode Olatunji said on Thursday in Abuja in a statement that the Ambassador’s role was to increase people’s awareness on the plight of the bomb blast victims in Nigeria and diaspora.

“The new Ambassador is also expected to serve as an advocate of support and humanitarian services for the Association with a view to improving the standard of living of the Victims of bomb blast, particularly in Nigeria,” Oladele said.

The BVAN formed in Abuja in 2014 consists of injured survivors of bomb attacks starting from the 1st October 2010 bombing at the Eagle Square Abuja and various Boko Haram bomb attacks in Abuja and the North East.

He said many of the bomb blast victims from the Eagle Square to the 31st December 2010 blast at the Mogadishu Barracks Asokoro, April 2011 separate bombings in Suleja at the INEC office, the Madalla Catholic Church, and the UN House blast among others in Kaduna, Kano, Borno and Yobe states among others have been abandoned and needed urgent Attention
